I attended all 3 nights race of the Singapore Grand Prix last week. I am very proud of our city skyline and the way which we hosted the race. The 'festive' mood at the race was a big plus. You can find many nice pictures here. It is money well-spent. It create the image that Singapore can 'party' and is a "cool" place to visit. I really think we have to look at the big picture about the "millions of dollars" spent by the govt and stop whinning about how the money could have been better spent. With the IRs coming up in 2009 and 2010, the Grand Prix can only be much better for Singapore and more tourist will come... :) Well done!
